The power players in Washington are lining up for the huge fight over Health Care (actually “Sickness Care Insurance”) Reform. The Chiropractic profession does not have the financial resources to compete with pharmaceutical companies, hospitals and others involved with lobbying for the US western medicine system. Our power base has always been and continues to be our patients.
ChiroVoice.org is a website set up to organize info for our greatest resource for the coming decisions over national health care reform: YOU…the chiropractic patients.
Through the chiropractic advocacy network, patients and chiropractic supporters can stay informed about important health care issues and help ensure that:
- Congress does not restrict your ability to access essential chiropractic services.
- Congress does not limit – but instead expands – coverage for services provided by Doctors of Chiropractic within Medicare.
- Insurance and managed care companies do not deny patients’ access to the essential chiropractic services they need.
Your involvement makes a tremendous difference!
WHAT TO DO:
If you are an advocate for chiropractic, you can go to the website and join now to provide your information.. it takes less than a minute.
If you are a Chiropractor or Chiropractic Assistant you can organize this for your office by getting the patient’s permission, and then the DC or staff enter the information at ChiroVoice.org.
Once signed up, you receive periodic updates–currently about once per month. If a need arises to contact your politicians, you will be notified and given options on how to respond.
Politicians respond to their constituents. this is an effective way to let your voices be heard. Take the time today to sign yourself and your staff up and find out how easy it is. Then ask your patients to sign up. It is easy. It is quick. Patients appreciate it. And it is vital.
